I found Backcountry fitness through Instagram as I was searching for programs to elevate my physical fitness levels. Although I am a personal trainer myself and consider myself a pretty advanced athlete, it’s imperative to keep broadening your knowledge as well as have someone push you to do things you don’t necessarily want to do.
To be honest, much of my training prior had been high intensity intervals which in regards to training for backcountry activities is truly not one of the best forms of training. Strength and mobility training are imperative to being a successful athlete. Mountaineering is my sport of choice and I have definitely noticed an advancement in my speed, agility and endurance. I will continue to utilize Billy’s expertise training moving forward."
